100 grams dark chocolate
1 tablespoon golden syrup
Prep Time – 15 minutes

Total Time – 90 minutes
1Use a pudding bowl and butter it on the inside.
2Put a disc of greaseproof paper, also buttered, at the base of the bowl.
3Use a saucepan to melt the butter, the sugar, and the syrup.
4Take the liquid ingredients from the heat and incorporate the egg and the milk in it.
5Mix the flour with the cocoa, soda, and cinnamon separately and then incorporate them into the pan.
6Pour the batter into the greased pudding bowl and cover it tightly with some aluminum foil.
7Let the pudding steam for 1 hour and 15 minutes, more if you feel that the batter is still too soft.
8When the chocolate pudding is almost ready, prepare the sauce by mixing all the ingredients in a saucepan until they melt.
9Take out the pudding, get rid of the paper disc, pour the hot sauce on top of it and serve it with a dollop of light cream.
