We’re an organic company. All of our parchment paper disintegrates according to Certification EN 13432. It is certified to successfully decompose in residential compost and in organic waste collection services.
We like it hot. When used correctly, our parchment paper can handle up to 428°F (220°C) without burning. Never use parchment paper (ours included) over a direct flame or heating element. When using an air fryer, ensure parchment paper is evenly weighed down with food to prevent paper coming in contact with the element.
We don’t use what we don’t need. Kana’s pre-cut parchment paper sheets fit your cake pans and baking trays perfectly, eliminating the kind of waste you get from parchment paper rolls.
We are greaseproof. Our parchment paper features top-notch greaseproof performance, protecting your cookware from hard-to-clean grease and saving you time.
We are oven safe. Whatever you’re cooking or baking, our parchment paper can be used at high temperatures in ovens and other cooking appliances. Our recommended maximum usage temperature is 428°F (220°C).
We won’t stick to you. Kana parchment paper is coated with silicone from a natural source, so you can always count on a high-performance nonstick finish.
We are driven by sustainability. We work closely with Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) to ensure that all our parchment paper products are made from sustainably-sourced wood pulp. PEPC diligently works throughout the entire forest supply chain to promote good forestry practices and ensure that forest products are produced with the utmost respect for ecological, social and ethical standards.
We’re all about good taste. Kana products are certified as food-safe materials. This means you can rest assured that all of our parchment papers are completely safe to use in contact with your food. Our parchment paper will never alter the composition, taste, or smell of your food - whatever is on the menu.
We make recycling easy. Our packaging is made from 50% recycled paper, and 50% from wood pulp sourced from responsibly managed forests. We don’t use any glue or plastic lamination in our packaging, so it’s easier than ever to recycle.
We believe in giving back. Every little action makes a difference. Which is why we’re proud to be part of 1% for the Planet, a global movement inspiring businesses to support environmental solutions.
