The 5.5 quart pre-seasoned cast iron Dutch oven is ideal for almost anything, including backyard BBQs. Being pre-seasoned, it's ready to use but will need a little bit of help to maintain the seasoning over time. The Dutch oven comes with one (1) bottle of natural soap and one (1) bottle seasoning oil that will ensure you get the best performance out of your cookware at each use. Do not put in the dishwasher.

Being Milo cookware, it's covered by our lifetime warranty. That means, if at any point in the lifetime of your Milo it becomes unusable due to normal use, we'll replace it, free of charge. If you can't tell, we really believe in Milo.

FAQ

Care Instructions

How do I keep my cast iron Dutch Oven from getting scratched?
This puppy is tough, but not indestructible. Softer tools like wood and silicone are your friend. Use metal tools carefully, and try not to scrape too hard.
Is this product oven safe?
Heat over medium or low heat, slowly, to ensure even heat distribution and for the best cooking results. Remember: these babies get hot and stay that way. If you’re serving straight from Milo (and it’s too pretty not to!) remember to place the pot on a trivet or heat-resistant surface. You can use Milo in the oven up to 450 degrees. It will withstand hotter temperatures, but there might be some discoloration or warping of the knob. For best results, keep it to 450 or below.
How should I care for my Dutch Oven?
If you see little scratches and lines -- especially if you’ve been scraping with metal tools -- don’t be alarmed. This is normal, and won’t impair performance at all. In many cases, these marks can be completely removed by scrubbing with a little baking soda and water, or a cookware cleaner like Bar Keepers Friend.
